What is a SuperFlyer?
This is an athlete who has gone above and beyond to challenge themselves to compete in every event permitted in their age group. The only event not required in any age group are the hurdles.
Recognition:
Each athlete who achieves this status will receive a SuperFlyer T-shirt
Events Required & Age Eligibility:
- 3200m: (No Gremlins or Bantams)
- 4x100m
- 1600m
- 400m
- 100m
- 800m
- 200m
- 4x400m: (No Gremlins)
- Long Jump
- High Jump: (No Gremlins)
- Shot Put: (No Gremlins)
Important Reminders:
- Event Limits: Each athlete is limited to 4 events per meet, plus the 4x400m relay for eligible teams.
- 4x400m Relay: This is a requirement for Bantams, Juniors, and YI+. It is considered a bonus event and does not count toward the 4-event limit.
- JV Meet Option: Athletes who have not yet competed in a 4x400m relay during the regular season can do so at the JV meet if they aren't competing at the Varsity meet.
