Sharlene Caldwell - Started in the fitness field in 1981 teaching classes in northern California as the aerobic boom took off. Moved to Thousand Oaks with my husband, 2 boys and 1 girl in 1994. Soon after we had our final girl. All 4 kids participated in AYSO which took 14 of those years half of which I was an assistant coach. In 1998 my kids and I were introduced to Flyers and I soon became an assistant to Coach Bob and Coach Keena. So fun. All 4 kids graduated from Thousand Oaks High School and were involved in soccer and track. My last daughter became the Division 2 champ of high jump in 2012. They all have since graduated college, one with a PHD. I am blessed with a granddaughter and grandson.

Presently I teach cycle, aerobic classes, water classes, and hiking. My biggest love for the past 9 years is being part of the coaching staff for the Cross Country team at Thousand Oaks High School. Now, during the off season I get to be a part of Flyers, a privilege.

Some of the certifications I have are; National Association of Sports Medicine, American Council of Exercise, Corrective Exercise Specialist, US Water Ass., National Federation of High School Coaches, Schwinn Cycle, CPR and First Aid.
