Head Coach: Bob McCarter, 495-7363, BobHMcCarter@aol.com
Team Manager:
Normal practice days: Monday through Friday
Starting with the daylight
savings changeover practice will be 5:00 to 6:15 or even to 6:30 for field events or extra help on
relays, hurdles or blocks etc. I and the other experienced coaches
look forward, as always, to being pleasantly impressed by the 2008 group. Most
everyone will quickly pick up the form, strength & coordination drills &
begin progressing in the skills. You may not all be at the same level but you should
all be pleased with your progress, I am sure your coaches will be.
You will be expected to attend / participate in a minimum of 3 practices a
week, if you can't do that or are doing another sport at the same time
PLEASE TALK with me and I will consider a 2 practice schedule for you. You
are welcome to attend all 5 if you wish. Please be aware that your ability is important and I have appreciation
for it but your interest, effort & determination to improve is even more
important. Varsity finals information. May 17, 2008, It seems a long way off but if
you want to be in the finals the time to get ready is NOW. TRACK
