The Moorpark track and field facility was financed by a combination of donated money from individuals and corporations, donated materials such as asphalt, drainage pipe, mixed excess concrete, sod, and trees, donated labor and services including heavy equipment grading and concrete finishing. Track lanes were sponsored by area corporations and emblazoned with the company's logo. Funds were also obtained from individual donations by community families.
